This is written mostly to cover the inner workings of magic, using Sailor
Moon as the base, to explain some open questions in Sailor Moon, and to lay
down the guide lines that magic will follow in my fanfics.

	1. The Basic Cataglories
These are the basic cataglories. All spells can be placed into at least one
of these cataglories.
		a. Fire
A fire spell involves the element of fire. The basic light spell is
considered a fire spell.
		b. Air
Air spells involve the the element of air, useful in areas where the
quality of the air is questionable.
		c. Earth
Earth spells involve the element of earth, and affect rocks and plants.
		d. Water
Water spells involve the element of water, and are very versitle.
		e. Healing
			Healing spells heal.
		f. Weather
Weather spells involve the elements of air and water, and take massive
amounts of energy to sustain and not much skill..
		g. Mind
Mind spells involve at least one party's mind, and are almost always high
skill.
		h. Other
			These spells defy cataglorization.

	2. Transformations.
		a. Basic
In a basic transformation, one changes shape and/or appearance only. All
that is involved in the spell is the shapechange itself.
		b. Advanced
An advanced transformation involves adding some form of power. (This is
the Sailors' transformation as seen in Sailor Moon.) Spells, like anti-
recognition spills, are often tied into these.
		c. Weres
A were transformation spell is permanent, but is not active except under
certain conditions. (The classic variable used is the full moon, but one
could just as easily make it the new moon, or even the sun.) It has some side
effects, like speeding the healing process.

	3. Anti-recognition
The purpose of an anti-recognition spell is to make it impossible for one to
recognize a person. It usually causes those who are not attuned to the spell
to instantly reject the possibility that the transformed person could really
be his/herself. (In this way, it shares the features of one of the hardest
invisibility spells, whose effect is to make all ignore you because you are
Somebody Else's Problem.)

	4. Invisibility
		a. Basic
A basic invisibility spell simply tells others that you are not there. It
is advised that you should avoid light - the spell does nothing about your
shadow, and, once you are noticed, the spell is only a waste of energy.
		b. Advanced
An advanced invisibility spell is a true invisibility spell, in that both
you and your shadow are invisible. It does this by simply bending the light
around the object(s) and/or person(s) it is cast on. However, it takes lots
of energy to sustain any of this type of spells. It is much easier to use a
SEP spell.
		c. SEP
An SEP (Somebody Else's Problem) spell causes the object(s) and/or
person(s) the spell is cast on to be ignored. Of all the invisibility spells,
this is the easiest to sustain but the hardest to cast.

	5. Speeches
A speech is a form of enchantment used when two or more magic users fight.
Its purpose is to set the limits on the fight. It can be used to lock out
certain types of spells and/or weapons, limit how much damage either party can
sustain, and set bounds.
It usually is also combined with a challenge, and the main body of the
separable attack spells.

	6. Attack Spells
		a. Basic
Basic attack spells are best for psychological warfare, because they are
mostly effect and not very damaging
		b. Advanced
Advance attack spells are pretty much the inverse of basic attack spells in
that they are not much to see, but can cause extreme damage.
		c. Mixed
A mixed attack spell combines an illusion with an attack spell. Of all
types of attack spells covered above, this is the best because it is often
mistaken for a basic attack, or, by the more inexsprianced, an illusion.
		d. Separable
This is any attack spell whose main body can be cast before a fight, and
activated by a phrase. (See any of the Sailors' attacks.) A separable attack
spell can be any of the above types of attack spells, and is the usual spell
used in a fight.

	7. Illusions
Illusions are the simplest form of spells, and usually the first taught to
beginners. They exstend the whole range of levels of effectiveness, skill,
and requirements of energy.

	8. Defensive Spells
		a. Counter-spells
A counter-spell is not a true defensive spell, in that its function is to
break another spell, not to protect.
		b. True
A true defensive spell's function is to protect whatever it is cast on, and
usually take the form of a shielding spell.
