*sigh* Because Ranma has a Jusenkyou curse, while the Shimeru change 
because of a genetic trait. Two completely different triggers and 
methods of changing.

Or is this why Dr. Tofu disappeared...Kuno didn't want him to cure Ranma
and has Dr. Tofu locked in his dungeon. :)
