This is Ranma, of course he's going to get in trouble, but he also
learns from his mistakes. Except where social skills are concerned. If
it's martial arts, or martial arts related though, he should do fine.
The only people he would have to worry about having trouble pinning
would probably be those with some form of Ki control. Actually, Nabiki
and Kasumi are the only ones that would make sense if you look at it
that well. And depending on the universe, Gosunkugi, Akari and Tsubasa.
As none of them have any martial arts training.
That particular aspect of the technique is actually not going to get
used a whole lot. Some, but the real killer 'move' is still to come.
For those people interested in the technical aspects, anyone with
sufficient ki abilities would be able to eventually break out of it on
their own. Pretty much most of the cast as pointed out. Those capable
of doing advanced ki work (Ryouga, Happi, Cologne) will snap out pretty
damn quick, probably less than 2 or 3 minutes. Those who are good
martial artists, but aren't generally ki-users (Mousse, Kuno, Akane,
Shampoo, Ukyou) will break out sooner or later, probably 4 or 5 hours
the first time and an hour or two after that. People with no training
at all probably never could, though Tofu, Happi, or Cologne presumably
would all be capable of breaking them out.
Why couldn't he just explain the look as an accident? I mean, he lands
at her feet, she screams PERVERT, and sends him rocketing off. Akane
dosn't move away, or hold in her skirt. You'd almost think she wants
him
to see her so she has an excuse to bash him.
Akane believing it was an accident... heh, sure.
I've added a brief comment about the skirt, to help smooth this over.
Also note that so far we've dealt with more or less 24 hours.
Akane's shown she can stay rather mad at Ranma for a couple of days
at a time.
Also, is Ranma going to be studying any of the other techs in the book?
Just my thoughts.
Mine too.
Count on it. In fact, the book is going to play a rather important role
in the future chapters.
