Epilogue

An interesting epilogue to an interesting story.  Prose, of course,
was excellent, conveying well both the atmosphere of the settings and
Nabiki's feelings.

What I liked best, I will say, was the depiction of what might very
well happen to Nabiki if she does enter the business world in Japan,
which is still quite exclusionary to women, more so than in North
America.

Rather than the business world conquered by Nabiki, we see Nabiki
conquered by the business world, by the strictures and stereotypes
that society has forced upon her because of her gender.  Her
frustration and anger with the situation are palpable; she has
obviously seen much of her hopes die as she went through college and
into the world beyond.  

Of course, Kuno's there to help her out in the end, but this is a 
Bartram fic, after all.  ;)

I would be interested to see more about Kuno in this storyline,
actually, a deeper look into his thoughts and feelings about the good
or ill of what was done to him and his sister.  But that's likely
beyond the scope of this epilogue, as it's mostly about Nabiki.  

All in all, a job well done.  ^_^
