again, go right ahead.

While I shudder at the thought of ANYONE writing an Anita Blake fanfic,
if you want a couple more suggestions:

1. Himiko Se: as a spiritualist she has limited talents probably on a
par with what Anita PUBLICLY admits to having; she's the
narrator/nemesis in the original Vampire Princess OAV series, and has
probably switched to full-time vampire hunting after her experiences.

True, although Himiko's also probably after the shinma. Who knows,
perhaps she could give Anita some info on the Shinma (since there
are some in America)? And, due to her history with Miyu (esp. if you
set this after the last of the original OAVs) she might be one of the
most unprejudiced of the group regarding Anita's relationship with
Jean-Claude.

I'm not that up on the horror Anime, which is one of the reasons I thought
someone else might do this better then me.

2. Anybody from the crew froom "Phantom Quest Corp." Hey, they already
do it professionally.

3. Anybody from Ghost Sweeper Mikami. I've seen an ep. It's wacky as
heck.

Since I don't know either of these series I can't make any comments
on them.

4. Hino Rei. As an ordinary Shinto shrine maiden with reputed psychic
abilities **cough, cough,Sailormars** she might be one to get the real
info from such a training trip

And if I had to pick someone to be the *most* prejudiced about
Anita's relationship with Jean-Claude, I'd pick Rei. The Sailor Senshi
tend to stick to the relatively simple "see youma - kill youma"
philosophy. And Rei can be a bit too... firey at times.

The story would need a good mix, You need to have someone or someones, in
the group who are tottaly against giving the monsters equal rights, not
unless you spell it rites.

5. Momiji Fujimiya + her bodyguard Mamoru Kusanagi of the TAC (Blue
Seed). Hey, what better use for a government-sponsored monster-hunting
agency that's out of (giant) monsters to fight?

Well, the fact that they'd have to change their tactics a bit since
most of the monsters in question won't be anywhere as large as the
ones they used to hunt... Not that logical thinking has stoped
politicos so far.

**Bonus!! Kusanagi Vs. Jean-Claude: Who can be more ecchi??**

Jean-Claude. He's got the edge in age, experience (those years
spent as a "toy" weren't a total waste after all!), patience and
a "never give up!" attitude.

Kusanagi only likes to tease Momiji. He's rather dour with anyone else. I
wonder what happened to his power levels after the end of the series.

6. Any of several people who shows up in Tokyo Babylon or eventually in
X. But you have to work the timeline right with them due to the high
bodycounts involved at the crossover point.

If I remember correctly, quite a few of the people in Tokyo
Babylon were pretty powerful. Then again, Anita's dealt with
the Vampire Council and the press...

Anita's main advantage is she never bluffs, if she says she'll kill you if
you don't stip, she means it. Which is likely why she's interested in
meeting Ranko.

Uh, have fun!

... if you're a masochist. :-S
