Theory: What if, with all the damage the Tendou estate goes through almost
every day, the floor plan changes VERY frequently? I mean, considering the
number of walls destroyed, the number of times people have been sent flying
through the roof, and the number of fights which occur inside the estate
(though rarely in the dojo proper, for some odd reason:-) it seems to me as
if their would be sufficient damage to remodel the floors every now and
then.

Not enough of a theory to base a fic around

Oh, really?

"Oh, daddy, I'll never get the hang of this," Kasumi pouted.

The three holes in the building before her gave mute agreement. Where,
just minutes before, there had been three fist-sized chunks of wall
missing, there were now three fist-sized chunks of wall missing with
quick-cast concrete splattered nearby holding pieces of wood that stuck
out like small, abstract sculptures.

"Keep practicing, Kasumi," Genma encouraged. "You're better than Ranma
was, when he started training." He conveniently left out the fact that
Ranma's training had begun when he was a helpless baby.

Soun nodded, adding an inarticulate compliment. Almost the only real
job that he and his friend enjoyed was teaching others martial arts. He
was surprised that he had never thought about developing a style that
would turn the chi and speed of the arts towards construction, but it
seemed perfectly suited to Kasumi's sensibilities. And, if he and Genma
could get Kasumi proficient in this style, they would never have to pay
for someone else to repair the dojo again...or, worse, actually have to
repair it themselves.

Nabiki was still riding the high that her daydreams brought her. Rapid
Construction Martial Arts had been her idea, and the financial rewards
that it could bring - replacing weeks of digging, drying, and general
work with less than an hour's effort, but charging the same total
amount - gave her pure, raw, orgasmic pleasure on a scale that no merely
human lover could hope to match.

Ranma looked on with amusement. Kasumi was no fighter, which made
traditional forms inappropriate for her. But she did seem to have
potential for this new idea Nabiki had whipped up. Humor at Genma's and
Soun's attempts to teach what they were obviously coming up with on the
fly warred with a desire to help Kasumi gain the same mastery of self
that he had lived with for as long as he could remember. Eventually,
his desire to be helpful won out, and he walked over to get involved in
Kasumi's teaching.

Kasumi could feel herself becoming better with practice. She had
intellectually known what chi was like - knowledge that could hardly not
be learned, with what she had witnessed. But, never before had she felt
it for herself. The power was intoxicating...

...and, as the saying goes, power corrupts.

[Like I said, "Kasumi's Chance" is starting to suggest itself...]
