present in *both* the manga I have read and the anime I have viewed

of the anime though second OAV season - viz release)

    I personally think that it's exagerated, in some fanfics he
accidentally goes to the US, Russia, Africa, and once I read a story
where he made it to Neptune.
    In the Anime and Manga (from what I've seen) he doesn't leave Japan
unintentionally
