First off, as one respondent kindly, and thankfully gently, pointed out to

It's one of THOSE stories, which explores (or might explore) Nabiki's
romantic side. Furthermore, the fiancee is a girl. I love it! :)

Glad to hear it. I wasn't sure at first if this would fly or not. I've seen
all kinds of "Ranma" gets a new fiancee" or even the odd "Akane get a new
fiancee" type of stories but I never saw a Nabiki one. Well there are
Nabiki stories that have her romantically invovled but never the subject of
a unwanted romance.

With that prenuptual agreement in place, and given Nabiki's mercenary
tendencies, I'd say she's probably NOT gonna back out. :) Now if Nabiki's
fiancee (damn forgot her name) decides not to back out of the wedding
(hrm, lots of money involved...but she would have to put up with Akane
being a maniac, Nabiki being a girl, Kasumi being...well, Kasumi, and
Genma being a Panda :P), the two of them could end up going through with
the wedding, if neither of them is willing to back out. :)

Well at this point she's pretty scared. Lot's of money invovled but Setsuko
is really considering if it's worth it. She and Akane might be freinds, or
could be. She isn't after Ranma, she isn't after Akane and seems nice
enough; that's might be how Akane will eventually view her. Setsuko thinks
she gotten herself into a real mess. I won't tell if they will or won't go
through with the wedding. I will say that Nabiki's likely to try everything
to get out of it if Setsuko wants to go through with it.

Wonder if they could fall in love with each other after being married.
It would sure be interesting to see. I'd read the lemon too, if someone
writes one. :)

^_^ Well Setsuko's already in love with Nabiki. She's had her first real
test of that love. Only time will tell if Setsuko's chasing the wrong
person or if Nabiki could ever come to love Setsuko. Will there be a lemon?
Well only if they get together, or Setsuko tries to seduce Nabiki.
