YES! More Bat's on the brain! WAI!!!!

Of course, my near-reverential respect for the Bat will not keep me from some
brutally honest C&C.

Her thoughts were broken as Priss waved a hand in her face.

 "Hm?"

"Hey, you're lookin' a little zoned out there," said Priss.
 "You okay?"

"Yes, just... thinking about something. That's all."

I have to disagree with this characterization. Sylia does not 'zone.'
ESPECIALLY not in public. The closest she ever comes is her Hyper-Recall
machine.

 "That's my flight."

After exchanging respectful gazes with Priss, patting Linna
on the shoulder, and tolerating a goodbye wail and hug from
 Nene, Sylia left.

The three remained, watching the plane soar off into the
morning skies, all uneasy at the departure of their leader.
The silence was broken when Priss elbowed Linna gently.

There's no polite way to accuse somebody of this, so I'll just say it; you
lifted this straight from Crash! part three, didn't you?

 [The Greasy Cow - Tinseltown]
 [Hellfire, Tinseltown]

I assume in both cases you mean Tinsel CITY.

"All right, everybody! Just 'cause I'm feelin' in a
nostalgic mood tonight, I think we'll go with the request
from the big friggin mutant to the left!"

The big friggin mutant to the left cheered triumphantly.

Awright! Hey everybody, let's congratulate Rod for his first obvious self-
insertion! ^_^

Please, please, PLEASE tell me that this isn't an actual song.

When the Law got grouchy, it made sure it didn't suffer
 alone.

Traffic and parking tickets were being written with
 unmerciful speed and extreme prejudice.

Police brutality was up by fifty percent.

ADP's brutality gone UP? That's not possible without resorting to tac-nukes.

Nene thought this was rather unfair. After all, she was the
one that hit him with the door.

 "I'm, ah, Horiuchi Toshi."

 "Yamakazi Linna."

Amazingly enough, this is the ONE series of Anime that takes place in Japan
where this is incorrect. For some reason, in the BGC universe, they've adopted
the western use of names. I've yet to see one instance where the family name
was placed first: It's always "SYLIA Stingray," (Largo really went out his way
to drive home THAT point) or "NENE Romanove" or "PRISCILLA S. Asagiri." I dare
anybody to show me one documented instance in Crisis, Crash! or the ADPFiles
where the proper japanese was used.

Of course, if Jeanne Hedge or any of the other hardcore BGC fans out there
come up with some, I'll look like (even more of) a fool.

And of course, a parting shot at what' s just a simple typo, yet I can't
resist pointing it out: YamaZAKI, not YamaKAZI.
