goddesses -- and the nature of their power. Do they channel it, or
generate it? Even if it's inherent to them, is it necessarily
something
that would register on mundane sensors?
Well, at one level, Ifurita has 'dimensional' abilities, so
presumably
she has sensors. This is necessary if she's going to manipulate
spacetime effectivly.

Now, what might be interesting is if Ifurita's spacetime abilities
function by the same basic mechanisms -- if from a different source --
as
the goddesses'.

Or maybe not even a different source. Ifurita is, at her heart, a
computer. The goddesses (depending on how you look at it) get their
power
>from a computer. Maybe there's no difference at all...

However, the first time they do anything strange around her, she
_will_
notice, and probably deduce the instigator.

But of course.

Now, in terms of the story, it would be ...interesting... if both
sides
know there's something special about the other, but not that the
other
knows the same about them...
Heh. In this case, the Norns know there's something distinctly odd
about her, they know she's from another dimension, older than
civilisation and has an incredible amount of blood on her hands, but
it's going to be a complete surprise to Ifurita and Makoto..

That they know it, yeah. Not to mention that Keiichi is probably going
to
be surprised as well... <grin>

By the way, has anyone out there but me considered the possibilities
of
_BUGS_?

Why, no. Should I?

http://www.cnj.digex.net/~rms || I have no mouse and I must scream.

I always felt that the powers of the goddesses came from a local 'patch'
of the worldtree's computer code. 'i.e.' a lightning spell is a macro to
have ?yigdrilsil? concentrate electrons at the foint of focus and then
relese them. Teleportation then becomes easy... replace objects location
with new coordenates.
