Alright I just finished these and this was aboout the point I decided I
was....hmmm...uncomfortable about reading this.
I've still gotta read 15.
The Problem with this is:
I don't like the story at this point but I want to keep reading.
This is one of those odd fics where I don't really like where the story is
going but I really have pretty much given my discretion on whether I will
read it or not up to the author.
This may seem odd and contradictory and it's also quite true.
Some things that bother me about the story (good and bad):
I like the Eternal City but it seems a little close to Tanelorne gone
bad. Of course I've got my own version of that in in my Sailor Moon/ M.
Moorcock crossover. (it was out last August and I'm giving it a tiny
polishing (it needs more but I'm only giving it a little.)
I'm spooked by the whole Cthuloid nature of of what or brave
sailor-suited wariors *might* actually be.
I like the idea of the Miko's but not the power levels (to freakin high.)
I like the idea that the Silver Millenium is not quite the nice place it
is usually portrayed....I mean if it was all flowers and hearts the Queen
would have never needed her guards.
Ami seems to have "gone off the deep end" (forgive me.) and this seems
like one of the most extreme OOC bits in the story. -not the early fight
but later in the pool.
The idea of Chibi-Usa in a Usagi-body is just creepy :)
-I hope that the Usagi in pink makes it out o.k. (Not Usako, but the
first one at the kill factory.)
I see this going two ways....Pluto getting her act together and *BAPPING*
her past self on the head so that the whole afair never actually happens
- Although I would guess this would better be a group effort.
or 2:
In the future we end up with the new incarnations of the Senshi and Usako
is to become Serenity/Selenity which proceedes as if the devistation took
place before the founding of Cristal Tokyo.
And of course there is Hotaru.
I feel quite sorry for her. But, Then, I've been having an average of 2
Saturn Dreams a week.
This week I dreampt I was in a costume shop (one where the owner yelled
at us for not having the right "codes" I saw Hotaru's fuku, the Silence
Glaive and Pluto's key.....strangeness. The owner (who looked like "Mother
Thing" from "A Wrinkle in Time") actually helped out because as she was
shoving us (my friend and I ) out the door she yelled "Get a computor for
Ron."
In real life I was "stripping" RAM from a couple of defunt 386's at York
and remembered that my friend Ron would gladly have one of the machines
they were throwing out -he has an old beastie called a "K-pro."
Anyway, my lucidity is slipping away into this wretched flu
I've had for the past week

I met a Lady in the Meads,
Full beautiful, a faery's child,
Her hair was long, her foot was light
And her eyes were wild.
