	Ranma impatiently sat at the table, waiting for the 'big news' his

mother had for him.  Nodoka walked in carrying their supper, setting it on
the table and moving to eat, before being stopped by Ranma's intent stare.

	"What is it, Ranma?"
	"What's this 'big surprise' you've been talking about?"
	"Well I've been talking to your father and.."
	"So you're going to let him come home?"
	"No.. Not exactly.  We've agreed to go to a marriage counseling retreat

this weekend."

	"So will Dad be coming home after that?"
	"We'll see.. I'll be going to the Tendo's thursday evening, and leaving

with Genma around noon, if you need to call me the number's by the phone."

	"But what am I gonna do?"
	"Your old enough to take care of yourself, and besides I'll leave you

some money for food."

	"I guess I can go to Ucchan's or Shampoo's..."
	"Anyways we'll be back monday morning."
	"Both of you?"
	"It all depends on how it works out."

	"Saotome residence."
	"Oh hello Akane! Here I'll pass you over to Ranma."
	
	"RANMA!! Phone!"
	
	"Moshi Moshi?"
	"Hi.. It's Akane."
	"Oh.. How's it going?"
	"Great! I passed all my exams except for the cooking.. How bout you?

What have you been up to?"

	"Not much, just teaching at the dojo.."
	"So how is everyone?"
	"Well, your not going to believe this, but my parents are actually

talking.."

	"Really? That's great! They've been apart too long.."
	"Yeah.. They're going out together this weekend, to try and patch it up."
	"Well.. anyways I should be going.. I've got an eight o'clock class, and

I have lots of homework to do, but I'll call you tomorow.."

	"Akane?"
	"Yes?"
	"I.. I miss you too."

	"This is Kyoko Godai calling for Nodoka.. is she there?"
	"No.. I'm sorry she left for the weekend, can I take a message?"
	"Oh don't bother, I'll call back on monday."

	"Hey Akane! It's Ranma."
	"Ranma?!? ... I've got class now.. I can't talk."
	"No, wait Akane.  This is really important."
	"Alright, but hurry up, I'm running late."
	"Look Akane.. I've been thinking, and since.. my parents are going

away.. I thought maybe.. umm.. ah foget it."

	"No, what is it?"
	"When exactly were you going to call me?"
	"After I got back from this class, now what is it?"
	"Now.. I was thinking, since my parents are leaving.. you.. might want

to spend some time together.. I mean.. come over here."

	"Oh Ranma! I'd love to.. but I just can't afford it."
	"Well, my mother left me some money.. I mean.. I don't mind paying for

your ticket if that's ok with you.."

	"Of course it's ok! Oh Ranma this is so great!  I've really missed you..

It'll be good to see each other again."

	"Do you need me to wire you the money? Or can you cover it until you get

here?"

	"I've got some money, but I'm not sure how much.. I'll call you when I

get back from class, ok?"

	"Sure.. I'll talk to you later."
	"Ranma.. "
	"Yes?"
	"I.. I... I'll call you when I get back."

well managed to get part 2 out tonight.. 11pm and me with and 8:30 class

:) .. part 3.. whenever we get time.. wednesday at the earliest for part 3..
(Ranchan is going to some stupid concert 2morow)
