I was reading my old mail, looking for ideas and something
to get me out of boredom and I found something that
piqued my imagination.

My creative juices perculated a bit as I fleshed the idea
out and this is the result: A Crystal Tokyo fic where not
one Senshi appears in !

Disclaimer:
Not one of the series in the fic is mine.

If I did own any of them I'd be on the FFML
for the prime reason of looking for people
who violated my copyrights.

Please don't sue or you'll only receive 5
Gummi bears and a bottle of Mountain Dew.

The restaurant was nondescript in the streets of Crystal
Tokyo. It was nothing special really amidst the crystal buildings
but today it was going to be a place for a very special
reunion of sorts.

The proprietor looked like a young man. A beautiful
young woman was helping him behind the counter. They
smiled at each other as she passed an order to him. He
moved to serve one of the customers when the woman
called out to him.

' Oh ! Yakumo, I forgot to tell you, we'll be having visitors
today.'

The young man, Yakumo, put the order on the table of the
customer and hurried back.

' Don't worry, Pai. I know. Manji phoned earlier. I got everything
prepared for the reunion.'

The couple turned as the bell on the rang, signalling a new
arrival. He was a handsome young man, looking about to be in
his mid-twenties. He smiled as he greeted the couple.

' Good morning, Pai, Yakumo ! Nice place you got here ! '

' Good morning, Hiroshi. It's nice to see you again ! ' Yakumo
said as he gestured the man to a large table in the carner of the
restaurant. ' Everyone's coming so I reserved a table for you guys.'

Hiroshi accepted Yakumo's offer and sat down. Pai and Yakumo
joined him after they instructed a waitress to take care of the counter.
' Still can't get used to being called Hiroshi.' Hiroshi said as he ran his
hand through his hair.

' At least it's better than being called Ogreslayer.' said Pai as
she signalled the waitress to bring a few refreshments.

' A lot better.' said Hiroshi with a wiry smile. 'It's nice to be human.'

Hiroshi was about to ask on how Pai and Yakumo were doing when
the bell rang again and two people arrived. One was an eighteen year old
girl dressed in a pretty flower design blouse, while her brown hair was
tied by a piece of ribbon. The other, who stood a few inches taller than
her, a man who had snowy white hair. They both smiled as the trio
greeted them from the table.

      ' Miyu ! Larva ! Take a seat , I'll get food from the kitchen. ' said
Yakumo as he stood up and went to the kitchen of the restaurant.
Miyu and Larva took seats beside each other as Miyu started the
conversation again.

' So, Pai, I see the restaurant's going well.' Miyu said as she
gestured around. 'You're probably getting a decent profit.'

Pai nodded in the affirmative as she drank from her glass.
' Everything's running smoothly, and it gives us enough money
to live a decent enough life. How about you and Larva ? You've
grown from a twelve year old into an eighteen year old in a few
months.'

' Well, since the Purification returned all of the Shinma to the
Dark except for Larva, my parents were released from stasis.
We've built a new home in Crystal Kyoto and everything's going
fine.' Pai could notice that Miyu and Larva were blushing a bit as
they noticed that she was looking at the rather expensive looking
ring on Miyu's ring finger.

' Don't tell me ....' said Pai with a look of surprise on her face.
< Why not ? They're practically married anyway > she thought as
she looked seemingly entranced at the ring.

' Yes. He proposed.' Miyu blushingly said as she raised the
ring up so Pai could inspect it closer.

' We're getting married this June.' said Larva with the same
blush on his face.

' Congratulations !' said Hiroshi as he shook Larva's hand.
Yakumo joined in as he brought the lunch to the table.

' By the way, how's my niece ? ' Hiroshi asked Pai and
Yakumo while eating his lunch.

' Saeko's fine. She's growing up to be a perfectly normal
human child.' Pai said, smiling. The Purification had cleansed
her of the Sanjiyan parts of her mind ,with the side effect of
returning her Wu's soul back to his body. Hiroshi was present
for their wedding since he was one of the old friends they had
from the old days and when Saeko was born offered to become
her godfather. The bell rang again and a man with an eyepatch
covering one eye walked into the restaurant with a small and
old woman.

' You finally arrived ! ' Yakumo said as he offered the two a
seat at the table. The two greeted all the others as they politely
took theire seats.

' It's nice to see all of you again.' Manji, another former
immortal , greeted them all with a wide smile. All Yaobikuni
could manage was a gap-toothed smile. She looked around
as if looking for someone.

' I thought Happosai would be here.' she said in her hoarse
voice.

' Oh, he's off teaching some orphans Tai-Chi.' supplied
Pai as she brought two more plates to the table.

' He's sure changed a lot.' Miyu said to Pai as she took
her seat once again.

' The Purification changed a lot of things.' said Yakumo as
he raised his glass. ' I propose a toast.'

Everyone raised their glasses in agreement with their host.

' To being human and mortal !' Yakumo said and all the others
agreed as they drank from their glasses, reveling in their humanity.

Oookay, so it was a bit.....cut short. I ran out of ideas and out anime

' Writers are the torchbearers of civilization. We're set in a corner only we
can illuminate. Some of us are searchlights, able to cast a beam into the
far reaches of the human soul. Some of us are candles , barely able to
sustain a glow against the darkness. Nevertheless the words I write
are important, because light is additive. Another's light doesn't diminish
my own. Our lights together make us stronger.'

' There is no such thing as fiction. There is no such thing as imagination.
Everthing's friggin' real.Everything's also one hell of an illusion. What that
mean's ,my dear reader, is that you, me , the chair you're sitting on,
the chair I'm sitting on, are participants in one of the biggest fucking lies
in the history of Time: Reality'
