Well, I AM in the running {the sig says it all. Vote for me!} so here it
is, even though responses to the questions generally aren't frowned upon.
Here's what I came up with info-wise.

Actually, on-list replies to questions that could be done via private
email (such as information requests) are very much frowned upon.
Especially since the person who asked the question tried to make all our
lives a little easier by requesting that responces be sent via private
mail. Which was thoughtful of him. Pity you mucked it up, Metthyew.

I don't know about your chances of winning "The Tybalt", but one more
'vote for me cause I spam' post is going to get you the Heavy End of the
Hammer, awarded by yours truly.

Remember, folks: private responces save time, bandwidth, and the moderator
the trouble of rebuking you.
