I came up with this Idea on the way home this evening. I was
thinking for some reason about the Tenchi muyo characters. How much
we do not know about Yosho, and his past. All we know of the time
befor he left Jurai, was that he was heir aparent to the jurain
thrown. There is also every indication that he had no actual
dislike of Ryoko before her attack on Jurrai, and that he was actualy
sad at having to emprison her. Why else did he not kill her to begin
with, at the only mement when jhe would ever likely have the chance.
There are also indications from the anime that Ryoko was aquanted
with the Juraian royakl family before the attack. Ayeka and Ryoko
both have stories about their childhood encounters, none of which
lead us to believe that Ryoko had criminal tendancies as a child. it
is possible that before that time she and Yosho may have been
friends at some point. but I think it would be an interesting story
to write about what took place, between the time of Yosho's birth,
till the Time that Ayeka came to Earth.
It seems to me that it could quite possibly ba a very sad story. I
might write it if I have the time, but for now the idea ifs free for
the taking. I am already working on two other fics, and have a third
on the back burner. well her is a little bit on the idea.......
Over a millennia ago, his mother left this earth, to marry the heir to
the Juraian empire. A little over seven centuries ago, Yosho left his
beloved Jurai on a quest to punish, and possibly kill a friend for
their crimes against his people. Little did he realize at the time,
that destiny would bring him back to his ancestral home. He followed
Ryoko back to the earth, were they did do battle. His ship, Finaho,
was the last great dragon of Japanese legend. And The stories of the
Demon Ryoko, and The holy Samurai Yosho who entombed her still
permeate Japanese legends, and lore.
But what is the true stories of these two beings, and whose tail was
sadder. Ryoko, who was forced to sleep through the centuries or Yosho,
who returned to his ancestral home, to see it dying, and a new world
taking its place
