AS a fan of all types of fiction from SF to Romance (both of which
overlap more than most people would believe) , it is not where you go
as much as how you get there. How will Akane deal with the fact that
she blew it big time? How will Ukyo deal with the fact that Ranma
loves Akane? How will Ranma deal with it when Akane catches up? What
happens when they reach Jhusenkyo? It is not so much who Ranma will
marry as why and how an then what happens, that are important.
As Robert Aspirin once quoted " a good writer can take a plot the
reader has read a hundred times before and knows by heart and make it
seem fresh and new" or as Robert A. Heinlein once said " it isn't a
new idea, that a writer wants as much as a new approach".
Besides after this Zen has said he would consider writing a Lovely
Angels story.
You would probably call them by that other name, the Dirty Pair.

Actually I would love to see somebody do a Ranma meets the Lovely
Angels. Could even their brand of Chaos get noticed by the people from
Nerima? This off subject but I just like the idea and the picture of
the those two not even being noticed.
