That wish would be, "I wish Akane's mother

Mrs. Tendo is going to kill the engagement, she's not going to. I thought
about this for a while. Mom always told me that anger comes from guilt or
depression. Akane, now without the source of her sadness, has a lot less
anger. Goodbye, mallet-san. Goodbye, "I hate boys!". Goodbye, "Ranma no baka!"

I don't buy this. Nabiki and Kasumi have extreme personalities, but this is
a comedy in which people can have extreme personalities for little reason
except that it sets up interesting situations.

Explaining Nabiki and Kasumi by saying it's trauma over the death of their
mother seems to me like explaining Kunou by saying he was hit on the head,
something else I've seen far too many fics use. (The runner up is for Kunou
to be affected by the loss of _his_ mother.)

As for Akane hating boys, if I were Akane and had 50 boys trying to fight me
on my way to school, _I'd_ get a little frustrated even with my mother alive.
(Besides, being a tomboy isn't so abnormal that you need to explain it away.)
