Subject: Definitions of WAFFy. Or something like that.

WAFF? It stands for Warm And Fuzzy Feeling. I guess it could best best
classified as a fic that tries to create a situation where the characters
in question are placed ina situation where they get "mushy" or "cuddly" in
a cute way. It's supposed to pull on your heart-strings some. If you're
successful, it might even make you feel all gooey and squishy inside.
something like that.

I think a good number of fics could be classified that way.

I tried writing one, Lost Heritage. It turned out completely different
from what I anticipated. It wasn't very WAFFy even though I labeled it as
such. Funny how repeated replies saying, "Why did (fill in name here)
die? That's so sad!" usually indicate something is depressing in the fic
and shouldn't be labeled WAFF. Amusing in a kind of odd way, but maybe
that's just me.

Back to work, I guess.

But first, something completely different:

In the tradition of "my email account can't handle a week's worth of
unread mail," I'm going to unsubbing from the list for a bit. Graduate
school apps and visits call. I'm going to be very busy attempting to
determine a future for myself. I won't have time to read stuff from the
list.  ;_;
Maybe I'll find time to post the rest of my stuff to the list beforte I
go. A final flooding of drafts, I suppose, but what the hey. Being
flamed is the worst that can happen, but that's no big deal anymore.

It's been fun.

Ja ne!
