The Chicken Balls are coming up folks!  (Yikes! That sounded bad, didn't
it?)  I've negleted from posting any future updates because I didn't
want to give away the winners.  There have been many votes sent in since
the last update and the polls will officially close next Monday at
6:00pm  So if you haven't sent in your votes yet, *now* is the time to
do it.

Here are all the catagories again....

"Worst Fanfic"  (The Worst of the Worst)

"Best Darkfic/Shockfic"  (The fanfic that gives you a genuine cold fear
of things that go bump in the night.)   

"Best Lemon Series"  (Given to the author who's saga never failed to
please it's characters and readers alike.  Must be a series, not
stand-alone.)

"Best Fight Scene in a Fanfic"  (If MTV can do it, so can I.)

"Best Lemon Scene"  (The single, most outstanding, scene in a lemon that
you find yourself reading at least once a day for....therapeutic
reasons.)  ;)

"Best MSTing"  (Given to the author with the most creative form of C&C)

"Sickest Lemon"  (Awarded to the author of a lemon, so gross, so
sickening, and so frightening that they receive this award!)  :)

"Procrastinator of the Year"  (Awarded to the author who has taken the
most time getting back to a fanfic they abandoned....)

"Most Depressing Fanfic"  (Given to the fanfic, so depressing, you watch
the movie "Seven" just to cheer up.)

"Best Imcomplete Fanfic" (Given to the best fanfic that breathlessly
kept us on the edge of our seats....until the author mysteriously
vanished or simply never continued/finished it.  Can apply to any single
fanfic or series, any year, but the fic/series must be unresolved.  (ie.
Ranma University, Black Operations, etc.)

"Funniest Fanfic"  (A fanfic that makes you laugh so hard, your sides
ache and your drink spurts through your nose.)

"Best Shortfic"  (Must be 5 pages or less)

"Best Revengefic" (Nuff said)

"Best Filk Song"  (All five nominees will have a chance to play them at
the awards)

"Fanfic of the Past"  (Upset that a certain fanfic you enjoyed in the
past was underated and seemingly forgotten?  This award gives you the
chance to nominate it again.)

"Best Crossover"  (The fanfic that combines series together in the best
way.)  

"Test of Time"  (Fanfic must be at least 3 years old and continues to be
a favorite among the FFML.)

"Chicken Cannon Target of the Year"  (This award goes to the author that
everyone would like to see get his/her just desserts.)


Those are the original catagories.  Below are catagories that were
recently added.  If you haven't voted for them before, please do so now.
If a catagory doesn't get enough votes or nominees, it will be dropped. 


"Best Original Fanfic"  (Given to the author that creates a great story
without having to use any elements of popular anime series.)   
        
"Best Non-Ranma 1/2 Fanfic of the Year"  (Can be any anime fic posted in
1997, as long as it isn't Ranma 1/2.)

"Best Lemon"  (Not to be confused with Best Lemon Series or Best Lemon
Scene, this award goes to the best *stand-alone* lemon of them all.  It
can't be a series or part of a series.)

"The Tybalt"  (Given to the author that had begun and mantained the
longest thread of conversation and/or debate on the FFML for 1997 that
finally prompted Tybalt to threaten their life if they didn't desist.) 
;)

"Best One-Hour Challenge"  (Given to the author that came up with the
most creative idea/story, regardless of puncuation, in a one hour
writing period.)


The awards themselves should probably occur in a week or so.  I need
time to inform the winners and nominees when the polls close.  Also the
following presentation spots are still available....
