It's a "shortfic", I guess (<20k?). I think of spamfics as (1) very short 
(<10k or so) and (2) either intentionally silly or underdeveloped. I wanted 
this idea to seem at least plausible.

I guess it's inevitable that the other characters from Ranma would show up
before long.  In this case, that's sort of a pity.  I think this 'fic would
work best with just Akane.

Hmmm.  Here, Zen is not so sure.  Not so sure that the other characters
will turn up, that is.  In fact, Zen sortof got the impression that this
was an Akane that had never met Ranma.  Still, Zen could be wrong.

	Yes to the first, no to the second. The event(s) that have brought Akane to 
Juuban have also alienated her from the usual Ranma cast. Maybe a cameo... but 
nothing more.

Zen agrees that it would work best with just Akane though...

	Yup. That's how it would go if it goes anywhere at all. Still haven't 
decided...

Ara... you missed the point.  Zen was not talking about merely replacing
one of the senshi with Akane.  Zen was talking about an Akane who had never
met a Ranma - an Akane whose temper had gotten worse over time, with no
focusing factor (Ranma) to the point that she had injured some of her
classmates rather badly - 

	Well, the original idea was that it _was_ Ranma (and a few others) who got 
hurt. (Necessarily fudging the usual Ranma timeline.) Same difference, 
though--this Akane has lost her "target", but also her greatest potential 
source of help.

and how that Akane would react to the senshi as
they currently exist.  Would she help them?  Could they help her deal with
her guilt, and her past?  Could they help her get past the bitterness?
Would she ever let them get that close?

	All good questions.

And would it ever come to Akane needing to be "healed"?  Or mayhaps Akane
would be duped into working for the "dark side" - completely ignorant of
the Sailor Moon connection - her ONE friend in school.  There would be
plenty of drama or story there.

	Innnnteresting (and definitely not _shtoopit!_). Have to mull that over.
