I'm in the creative mood for birthing a fanfiction, but I wanted to
get input of an idea that I thought of.
Here goes:  One day, a fire takes place at Uccan's.  Ukyo is trapped
inside.  A mysterious stranger comes to the rescue.  Both are
hospitalized.  When the stranger becomes conscious, Ukyo and Ranma are
there to visit to give thanks and to offer anything for saving Ukyo's
life.  This stranger KNOWS of the Ranma 1/2 universe, and thus throws
this resopnse: "Yes, Ranma.  Ther is something you can do for me. 
Have your dad adopt me so that I can be engaged to Ukyo."
