this used to be Furinkan's Day.  I know the only way it seems to
resemble it is that it is a Sailor Moon Ranma 1/2 crossover but there
is more later that they would have had in common.  I switched because
I was having a little trouble getting the story line to work out in
Furinkan's Day. Oh well  I am looking for prereaders for this story.

 The time was growing near.  Soon the final awakening had to occur.
This she knew with no doubt.  She also knew what had to be done.  This
time it couldn’t be her, actually it almost never was her.  Someone
else did the job she just tried to make sure none interfered with what
must happen.  It is true however that time is not set in stone, and
one event could drastically alter the future.  She had to be close for
this one.  Closer than she had been in a while.  For one act could set
the stream of time into a wildly flowing river that could destroy
everything and everyone.



  "Who’s there," asked Nodoka  as she looked around her.  No one was
in the room with her, for that matter no one was even in the house
with her.  It had been occupied only by her for the past eleven
years.  Her son and husband had left.  They went to train around Japan
and China, only aware of where they were by the letters they sent
her.  Unfortunately the letters had stopped a little over a year ago.
Then she started to visit the Tendo’s in  hopes of seeing them.  They
were never there though always gone on training trips.  There it was
again, something calling out.  Nodoka concentrated on what she was
feeling.
   There,  it was in the house with her.  She got up and went towards
the source of the feeling.  Silently looking around for what was
causing the disturbance.  Her eyes fell onto a tightly sealed box and
widded suddenly.  It had never done that before.  She closed her eyes
and silently concentrated on the item trying to understand what it
wanted.  Nodoka’s eyes snapped back open and starred at the box.
"Masaka,"  was all that she muttered before picking it and a few other
things up and heading quickly out the door.

 "Raannma get back here and try this now!"
"No way Akane it tried to take a bit out of me."
"Ranma you jerk," yells Akane while she pulls out her mallet and
starts  swinging at him.
Ranma suddenly stops and looks in another direction.  Akane noticing
the huge opening hits him with her mallet into the pond.
 "Hey, what did ya do that for?"
 "Because you wouldn’t try my cooking!"
 "Well if your cooking didn’t try to eat me first you uncute...  hey
what’s.... "
Ranma didn’t get to finish as she is knocked out by Akane’s mallet.

"I could get used to this Luna. No monster attacks, no great evil
trying to destroy earth."
"Yes, it is nice Usagi, but you must always be prepared for another
..."
Luna is interrupted Usagi’s communicator beeping.
"What’s wrong Ami?"
"There is a monster attack at the school."
"Ok, were on our way."
Usagi and luna raced out of the house and started towards the school.

Ranma awoke to two people standing above him.  One was holding a cloth
to his head an the other was talking. Ranma focused on the two.  Akane
was holding the cloth to his head and the other person was his
mother.  He quickly looks down to see what sex he is, and is supprised
to see that it is his male body.

"He’s waking up," said Nodoka, "Hello Ranma, it’s nice to finally see
you."
"Hello Mother.  What are you doing here?"
"I came to see you.  Akane would you leave us so I can talk to Ranma
in private."
"sure"
Nodoka waits until Akane has closed the door and walked down the
hallway before turning to Ranma.
"Ranma my family has a secret that has been kept for over one thousand
years.  Passing that information down to the oldest daughter or oldest
son if no daughter was born.  (Nodoka reaches into her kimono and
brings out a small item.)  This is given to the person as well.  It is
supposed to give the holder of it powers, but none have been able to
use it...   Ranma are you paying attention to me?"
"It’s calling to me.  The same thing as earlier, this is it." (Ranma
reaches out and takes the item.) *The power its radiating so much
power*

Nodoka notices that Ranma is in a trance like state.  Something starts
to glow on his forehead. Then it suddenly explodes upwards in a beam
of light.

Mars: "damn this thing is fast."
Mercury: "our attacks are just to slow." (gets out her computer and
starts working)
Venus:  "Mars, Jupiter lets try and hit it in a crossfire."
Mars and Jupiter: "OK"
Venus: "Venus Love Me Chain"
Mars: "Burning Mandala"
Jupiter: "Sparkling wide pressure"
Mars: "Damn what does it take to hit this thing."
Luna: "Calm down.  Your doing more damage than the monster is right
now."
Moon: pointing at a beam that just appeared in the sky "What is that"
The monster stops and suddenly disappears.
Mercury: scanning the beam "I’m not sure but its energy signature is
similar to the beam that chibi usa used."
Luna: "Can you get a fix on the location Mercury?"
Mercury: types at her computer a little "No, but it seems the energy
is located in the Nerima ward."
