Neither's Ranma, quite frankly. Garion didn't really get arrogant until
the second series(well, he was a bit. But the second series was a pile
of rubbish in so many ways, why single that one out? In my opinion, of
course). Ryouga might have been a closer personality match, if you lesson
his anger. Nabiki, though, is perfect as Silk. 

I'm not relly sure what her role is, yet, but, it's RANMA who HAS to be
the Garion template. Following the legend, ediings wise it is the MALE

I do have to agree, however, that follwoing Eddings and Takajashi ,
Akane  is the LOGICAL choice for Ce-nedra's role in the story. (Kodachi
is a HUGE stretch!)

Sigh... It would have made for an innovative story though, Ukyou as Garion...
