Actually, it sounds like a fascinating idea... though it might be difficult
to arrange without taking liberties... Japanese jurisprudence does not use
juries, but panels of judges... three, five or seven, depending on the
level of the court.

That said, you could also make it some kind of school, or interscholastic
project for students studying American jurisprudence in one of their
classes... stage a mock trial, with students from a number of the
high-schools - Fuurinkan, Tomobiki, Juuban, etc...

Zen thinks that it'd definitely be worth a try.
