Hello everyone!

   I'm back from my summer job (although "summer vacation" would be more
accurate).  I spent the entire summer cruising around the Eastern provinces
of Canada as a tour guide for the Bluenose II 1997 Canada Tour.

   Unfortunately, I was unable to keep working on LoD, since I couldn't
access a computer.  But fear not!  I have not abandoned LoD!

   Right now, I'm doing a somewhat major revision of the first seven
chapters to work out some of the bugs.  This is what I've modified (so far):

Verika and Kanma's past (a little)
ki/chi spelling
Hehshin stick/rod
The battle at the train station
The battle between Ranko and Happosai at Juuban
I eradicated Chibi-Usa!!!
I fixed the family name problems
Transformation phrases corrected according to new timeline
Small words here and there
General formatting

   As soon as my pre-readers stop finding bugs in it, I'll send it to the
list and put the updated version on my WWW page.  I've started work on
chapter 8 and it's around 40 Kb right now and growing (yes, it'll be
another big one!)  I have no idea when I'm going to finish it, though.  If
you wonder why I'm taking so long, please keep in mind that I speak French,
not English, as a primary language.  I'm a bit slower when I write in a
second language.  There's also the fact that I've just started university
and I have yet another part-time job, so I have less time than usual to
write on my computer.

  (Small warning to budding authors:  the biggest mistake you can make is
to put Chris Rijk and Terence Fergusson in your pre-reader's list.  Those
guys are heartless!...  But I like'em anyway, cause they do good work!)
