Nah.  Jackie Chan's the best choice for Ranma - I think Ranma was based of
of a character that Jackie did a while back; pretty sure the character had
a pigtail and wore the same outfits that Ranma does! :)

If you look at Tekken 2, you'll see that Lei Wulong, who is
patterned after Jackie Chan, looks EXACTLY like Ranma
wearing a blue version of his outfit.

Quite possibly. However, almost all of the old Chinese
kung fu movies make use of a hero wearing the Ranma
chinese outfit.
