after reading a bit on original work it made me think what makes a story
qualified to be called Anime or Manga?
Because I see a lot of stories, not done by japanese that would make great
anime/mangas

Twisted plot, tortured souls, unusual heroes, and villians with 
personality.  Pretty much the elements I've associated with 
manga/anime stories.  BTW what org. stories did you read?
