There were duplicates of the KS in the anime , who proved to be
boomers. He may have assumed these were more of the same.

There were...DAMN!!! I was hoping of makin' it where Genom create KS duplicate
and pit them against Ranma...that way, Ranma developes a hatred for the KS and
attacks them when he realizes they were never his friends...

	Hmm, perhapse Ukyo was killed in BGC6 by the KS duplicates, Ranma rushed 
back when he heard but by then he knew that they were fakes and that they had 
been destroyed.  So in the end all he knew was that Ukyo was killed by 4 
boomers.  And while Genom wasn't directley responsible, they did make them, and 
Ranma could easialy find evidence of other misuses of the technology.  So he 
still wanted to set the technology back and went to the testing grounds.  When 
he saw the Sabers he immediately concluded that Genom had recreated the boomers 
that had killed Ukyo and attacked.
