Hello,

I've finally bought a paperback Robotech novel from the Dell/Rey
series.
I've been reading #18, The End of the Circle, and with half of it
through
I might say..it's really interesting, in fact I wonder if having
inspiration
from this type of source...(non manga/anime) would be considered a
material 
for fanficdom.  I don't actually, haven't followed Robotech (I mean
Macross)  (Damn HG
for confusing me).

Anyway...I might make one in the near future.
Probably ...
....what if scenarios like,  
1.  Regis squared off with the REF fleet, instead of uniting with the
protoculture.  (A devastated Earth?, or would Haydon IV still awaken in
the same way)
2.  Scott B. hooking with Ariel (aka Merlene) and rebuilt their lives
instead of helping find SDF-3 (too remote I'd say)
3.  all SDF's reunite in some paradoxial timewarp, or Dr. Lang would
have fashioned it, behind Ranaath' Star's black hole and square off
against Haydon's intention to create a new universe, leaving the old
one behind.
4.  Or, what if Dr. Lang died/disappeared during the end of the first
war.
