My scream is filled with rage as I throw another object against
the wall, my vision a blur due to the barely contained tears. He had
done it again. Made a fool out of me.
I look at the crumpled letter on the ground. The object that had
started this new expression of hate.
He had sent me a letter, telling me to meet him. I though that
he finally cared and my heart soared...and then I came and found out
that it had been nothing more than a cruel joke.
He said to meet him under a bridge...and like a fool, I went. I
found out that he only wanted me there so I could help his friend get
out of trouble...he didn't really want to see ME.
I hated him then, more than ever I did when we were younger. He
was everything I wasn't. He was the perfect one who was always around
to get me in trouble.
I tried so hard to get back at him...but just before I do, he
always found some way for me to get the blame. He would run off
while I receive a lecture that should have been his. Listen as
they told me to be more like HIM.
I throw another object, not caring that it ruined the already
stained wall even more.
Always the better one, the one that excelled while everyone
ignored me...always him.
When he had left to go to school, I thought I had finally gotten
rid of him, but everyone just continued to compare us. I was still
my brother's shadow even though he was far away.
I grab the makeup mirror, the only thing left on the dresser and
hurl it with all my might, not caring that the fragments of glass are
cutting through my skin.
My rage spent, I slump down into the ground and cry myself to
sleep.

AUTHORS NOTES:
O_o Geez, what was I thinking when I wrote this? I'm not even the
least bit depressed.
This story is from Nagisa's point of view. You know, Shinobu's
slightly unbalanced sister.
This is hopefully my final draft. I just added another paragraph
to clarify the bit about the letter. All comments and criticism are
welcome.
