[This is NOT intended to be another piece of spam! I am simply trying to
help the many, and varied, writers' here on the FFML to derive new ideas.
If, however, either WW or Tybalt finds this to be spam, then I apologize.]

The basic idea of expanding the number of anime titles that are, or should
be,
discussed on the FFML is a very good one, IMHO. Hopefully this process
will generate new fanfics that are derived from a wider range of anime shows.
For example, in the past few weeks Evangelion has become a new source of
some very good 'fics. There are potentially many other fanfics that
will/could
be written using new titles. I am NOT downplaying any of the current anime
work being done {especially since I collect ALL of the FFML fanfics ^_^).

An expanded version of Otakings' list:

Blue Seed
Plastic Little
Kishin Corps
Bounty Dog
Cyber City - Oedo (sp?)
Burn-Up
Burn-Up W
Darkside Blues <== If you don't view anything else, see this one!!!
Armitage III
Phantom Quest Ghost Corp.
Maris the Chojo (sp?)
Battle Royal High School
Cybernetic Guardian
Ellica
Iria (sp?)

and many, many others...

I could recommend quite a few series I'd like to see people write fanfics
about, like Jigouku Sensei Nube, Kingyo Chuuiho, Mizuiro Jidai, Saber
Marionettes, Lamunes, Maze etc etc etc, but it is not likely to happen.
People will write what they want to write, and that's usually what they've
seen, or whatever is the most ubiquitous title in the minds of fanfic
writers at the time. For a long time that's been Ranma and Sailormoon,
sometimes even Dragonball. Because of its recent release and the impact
that release has made, Eva has joined the list. Blue Seed, Plastic Little
etc etc have been out for quite a while now and they haven't made nearly as
much an impact on people, so one shouldn't expect an overload of fics.
Maybe the characters and situations just don't inspire people. Whatever
the case, having fics covering a large number of series is ideal, but not
likely to happen.
