My problem with these types of letters is that they shouldn't be put on
the FFML in the first place. (Ignoring whether the letter is valid or
not.)  We get enough anime-related spam as is, posting things like this
definitely annoys me.  

If a person wants to send it on to friends or post it to a group related
to the subject, I don't really care about how much it costs the taxpayers.
Come on, we're sending _fanfiction_ to each other, which has less meaning
IMO than even a fake letter such as this.  But, I personally detest any
form of chain letter and I definitely don't want to receive this type of
thing from the FFML.

He was just pointing out that it's illegal.  Whether or not a person can
prove it or will turn you in doesn't change that fact.
