Yeah, but, then again, that's the anime, which is known for warping and
distorting Takahashi's stories.  I don't believe RT ever had Nabiki pull out
or use a hammer.

Nabiki used the hammer in the manga (although Akane used it earlier, so
it might be that Nabiki can't _retrieve_ hammers).

Of course, there's always the theory that Nabiki is really a martial artist
but doesn't let anyone know.  Consider that she manages to knock him out by
hitting him on the head, even though way at the start of the series, he could
fall out of a tree onto his head and not get affected.  She certainly must
be a better martial artist than all those guys who were unable to defeat
Kunou.  (Yeah, I know this is stretching it, but I _am_ planning to use it
in Tendou 2/3....)
