Tried this once before, but I think it got lost when the FFML
burped... so I'll try again...

I'm getting ready to post a fanfic on my web page, I've got the 'fic
HTML'd already, but I want to give the option of downloading a plain
version of it in case they want to read it later. What's the best
format for this? ASCII, .TXT, etc? I'm using a PC (Windows 3.11), but
I want to make it a format readable by anyone.

Also, I want to include an archived version of the whole thing. Which
is more universal, PKZIP or GZip? Or something else?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Derek
