You do realize that you *have* a moral obligation to continue the
idea you've started in this 'fic, you know.  It's a nice concept.  
Akane through no will of her own, starts to mellow towards Ranma,
and as a result, they kiss.  AS a result, he starts feeling stuff towards
her.  Mushy stuff.  Pretty cool.  I liked the addition of the new
way to manipulate ki.
