This is one point that always puzzles me. Now, I have embarrassingly 
little knowledge of the Ranma manga. I've heard about/read 
translations of many of the stories, but I still know a lot less than 
I'd like to. Now, all the evidence I have suggests that the Neko-ken 
incident happened when Ranma was six, however, I have also seen many 
times fanfic authors cite it as having happened when he was ten. 
Which is correct?

I'll field this one, and I'll make it public just in case anyone
else wasn't sure. 

I think you need to check your sources, I checked both VIZ's translation
and the manga tankouban(Yay! I finally found my Ranma tankouban vol. 5!!!),
both give Ranma's age as 10 when he learned the Neko-ken. So the time
line given in Reunion War is correct.

(Oh yeah, and the writer of the fic spelt Ukyou wrong up there, so this
counts as C&C too. :P )
