Ami's DAD is the doctor, isn't he?  Don't know what happened 
to her Mom.

Minako's Dad and Mom are together.  Dad works as an Exec for a
big company, hence Minako became Sailor V while in England,
long before she met any of the senshi, because her Dad was
working there on assignment.  In "Symphony of the
Planets: Venus" Minako's Dad works for Toyota, I think, I 
don't know if that's canon.
