        Hiya;

        I'm brand new to the ML and I'm also new to anime and Ranma. The
first time i watched it was Jan 1st (was recovering and was bored and my
friend talked highly about it so i figured what the hell). Now I have to be
one of the most addicted ppl in the world to it. Also, I'm really no expert
since all I've seen is series 1, 2, 4 OVA's, and the first 2 movies (just a
little background on myself). I wanted to wait to get a feel of the ML
before i posted something, but I saw this question and figured, 'well, got
start sometime!'   :)

        Anyway, picking my favorite character out of Ranma. That's a
toughie. I like both Ranma and Akane because it's so easy to tell how they
feel, but do anything to contradict their feelings. And, eh, you just wait
for someone to land in cold water or that mallet to appear out of nowhere.

        Ryoga is hilarious. Just the fact that someone could get as lost as
him is funny. I almost feel sorry for him, but am just too busy laughing at
the guy for that.

        And, of course, Shampoo. What normal guy wouldn't?? I mean, having
an Amazon basically throwing herself at you....and although I've never heard
the voice in Japanese, I love her talking in the English dubbing and if it
was her that got Ranma, I suppose I could live with that, though I still
can't wait for the day Ranma and Akane both finally admit their true
feelings to each other.

        Anyway, those are just my own feelings about the characters. I'm
sure you'll get stuck hearing more outta me, but for now, I'll spare you all
^_^

        P.S.- Yes, i'm even writing my own Ranma fanfic. Of all the ones
I've read, I don't believe anybody's done what I'm doing but if I am, I'll
apologize in advance. I hope to have it finished shortly for posting here.
