Who do you think wrote the book? Purcell did a series of Sam&Max
comics long before he worked for Lucasarts. The figures had
already made cameos in several Lucasarts games before they got a
game of their own. Very recently a collection of al the old comix
and the one-page color versions was published under the title _Sam
& Max Hit the Road_ bz Marlowe and Company IIRC.
Those comics are *very* funny and wonderfully illustrated. Only
very few relations to the game, BTW - they just share a title, the
main characters and the screwball humor. The plots are completely
different.
Yeah, I know... Think I got the wrong end of the stick there. What I meant
was, who's Bucky Kerouac, and what's "Sam & Max Drive Around in a Car"?
Oh, and it sounds like you're quite a bit more qualified to write any Sam & Max
fanfic than me. I'll post the prologue once I'm finished with, and see what
you think.
Anyway, thanks.
