I'm getting a little fed up of the gay / perverse fanfic arguments.
If you don't like the direction a fic is taking with respect to a
character or storyline, STOP READING!

Apparently, yesterday my opinion got lost. Here it is:

Of course, some of us may read it so we can comment on it later, like
when one of these spamfests start up. I, personally, will stop reading
once I get the idea of what kind of dark fic it is. I usually read the
authors notes first, when reading a dark fic (or whatever) so I have an
idea of what I'm reading. Keep in mind that whatever I say is just in
my humble (?) opinion. I don't like these stories as much as some other
people might, but not to the point of saying, "Stop writing this crap."
Say stuff like that, and maybe they will. That's not a good thing,
because if you were to say something like that to Richard Lawson for
his Kintaro fics, and he stopped writing, we'd all hate you. Now,
another thing. Don't generalize on the net. All of us are different,
and we all live in different places. Heck, don't generalize anywhere.
On the other side, don't put us down for stating our opinion, but kindly
tell us what you think (I know some of you are). I have my own ideas and
morals, and all of you do too. I'm glad all of you have an opinion on
this, but I think I've had enough of this thread.
(I'm glad I took that Humanities course, now.)
