Is there a cure?  That does lead to a bigger story.  I think I sort of
remember the story this is based on, its one were Ranma permanently
becomes a girl <personality wise, at least> because Akane bashes him on
the head, right?

What happens to Ranma's spirit when the spirit from the pool of drowned
girl takes over?  Where does it go?  Back to the pool?  What would happen
then?  Perhaps some other person or thing would fall in the pool, become
cursed with the spirit and form of Ranma Saotome.  Perhaps with time, the
spirit of Ranma would fight to gain control.  Of course, that violates the
established myth of the pools, but people do seem to twist the myth and
story of how the pools work around to suit their story. Oo, this sounds
interesting.  :)  Of course, I don't write Ranma fanfics, so its all yours
if you want it.

Somebody new is going to show up in the Nerima . . . Ranma's returned, and
he wants his body back!

<Boy, did that sound dumb, anybody know if this has already been done?  I
would love to read it if it has, Ranma becoming the cursed side of some
other poor sucker after the original Ranma . . . hey, wait, that's one of
the basic premises of R2096!  No wonder it sounded so familiar and
interesting.  Well, I guess I'll just wait for the next NEW chapter of
R2096 then. :>
