Okay. Now let me see here. Did you see how afraid Akane is in
the
Tunnel of Lost Love? If she is afraid of ghosts, it will make sense
that she is afraid of the darkness, right? And yes part of my
assumption is based on 'she is STILL a girl'. Akane is all energetic
and everything, but deep down she is a girl and still needs to be
protected.

I agree with you, but Akane is really not as strong as you think
she is. Don't get me wrong, I like her as well, but... I felt compelled
to show the more 'feminine side' of Akane.

Um... excuse me for perhaps overreacting, but just WHAT are you
insinuating here?! Do you mean that in order to be "feminine" (which is
an overused and overdefined term anyway) a woman must be weak and cling
to males to protect her? If so, then I think I'll be borrowing Jaymz's
Patened 12 Gauge Doube-Barreled Combat Shotgun(TM) and you'll find me at
your house pretty damn soon to tell you just what feminine means.
Feminine means nothing more than "female". It does NOT mean that all
females are weak, fearful, clingy, and pathetic, and certainly doens't
mean that without a man around to protect them, women would surely die of
exposure to the real world. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of
women out there who are an embarrassment to the word "feminine", and I'm
the only one like myself that I know (how many girls do YOU know who go
to the mall solely for the arcade?), but that still doesn't give you an
excuse to stereotype Akane like that. I consider myself a lot like her
(my cooking has bitten people back before) and I really don't enjoy
someone writing about how Akane is basically weak and just needs Ranma
around to protect her. I LIKE the dark, and I'm not afraid of ghosts or
of some amusement park ride and I doubt that Akane gets like that too
often... if she did, I'd have much less respect for her than I do right
now.

With a simpler "SIG" - now in a bright new design!
