I wrote that post just before I read your fic, and didn't know the whole
deal here. However, Ranma is also to blame for Akane's unhappiness, and
it's perfectly alright to hurt him a little....:)

     Grrrr. So we have a fiance-beating maniac who gets off scott free?
Geeze, if they were married, Ranma was a girl, and Akane a man, we'd be
hopeing the police would come and arrest Akane for wife beating.

Apart from the hurting of the beloved Akane-sama, it's a damn good fic,
although Ranma and Kasumi seemed a little OOC to me, and there wasn't
enough of Akane in there to know if she was too. Her response to the
last bit seems reasonable though....

     I don't know how to remedy the Ranma & Kasumi OOC thing, especially
since you don't tell me how they're OOC. (Realize, though, that some things
just can't be done IC, and therefore require a little bit of OOC to make
the story work). If you let me know how they're OOC, I'll try to remedy it
in the future.
