How about something a little more twisted: Akane's mind in Ranma-chan's body??
Picture them trying explain the situation to their fathers at home or to their
friends and teachers at school. Or their fight for control of the body??

Of course after they are sepparated Ranma may be cured, but Akane changes 
to "The Pig-Tailed Goddess". [Kuno would Love It - He could have both without 
making a choice].
