I have a idea upon which a Tenchi story might be built.  *I'm* 
certainly never going to get around to writing it, so I thought I 
might as well toss it out here.

It's deals with Washuu's "big secret".  In fact, this might turn out 
not to be a fanfic idea.  If I'm right, it could turn out to be the 
real thing.

Anyway, we know (if we believe the "101 Secrets", which I've stated I 
won't accept without animated corroboration), that Washuu is one of 
the three most powerful beings in the universe, Tsunami and Tokimi 
being the other two.  We also know Tokimi is, well, a goddess is the 
best way to describe her.  That could make Washuu a goddess as well.

My theory?  I think Washuu, along with Tokimi and Tsunami, created 
the universe umpteen zillion years ago.  At some point, she broke 
from the other two and ran away, renouncing her goddess form and 
locking away her memories so that she couldn't be tracked.

Now the truly fanfic speculation comes in.  My guess as to Washuu's 
reason for bolting is that she had grown to care too much for the 
beings in her creation, and that the experiment the three of them 
were performing would call for its eventual destruction.

Hmm.  That's neat, now that I think about it.  Maybe I *will* write 
that story.  Sure!  All I need is a couple of extra lives.  (Or to 
win the lottery so I don't have to work anymore.)
