                             Ranma Dark Empire
                                     Part 5

    Ranma, Ryoga, Titus, Akane and Ukyo are making good time running 
though the Black Lotus Corps base on Arrakis. They had only came up against
a few dozen troopers. 
    "How much further?" asked Ukyo.
    "I don't know, Ryoga's leading." said Titus.
    "Oh great." said Ranma.
    "Hey! What was that?" asked Ryoga. He stops and glares at Ranma.
    A group of troopers appeared around a corner.
    "Halt!" the lead one yelled, and then opened Fire.
    Ukyo pulled out four of her spatulas, and tossed them. The edges of 
them were monomolecular, and cut through those troopers like a hot knife
through butter. The Spatulas also had a small suspensor lift system in them,
so they traveled in a arc and returned to Ukyo.
    "They worked!" exclaimed Ukyo as she caught them.
    "For once." Ryoga said.
    They continued.

    They soon approached the door that they came in through.
    "Well, that wasn't so hard. Hey, even the door's still open." said 
Ranma.
    "This is not right, it's like they're letting us out." said Titus.
    "Don't look a gift Ranma in the mouth." said Ryoga.
    "What?" 
    "Never mind."
    They moved to the door, when it suddenly closed.
    "Shit!" said Ranma.
	"What's all this now?" said Titus.
	"This is the end of your little romp." said a voice from down the 
hall.
	"What the hell is that?' said Ranma.
	The voices owner came into view, it was the Kalogenic Organism, Ako.
	"Come on now, you think you can take us on?" said Titus.
	"Yes." said Ako
	"Well, your going to get hurt." 
	Titus charges the girl, fists out, and Ako swats him to the side, making 
a dent in the wall.
	"Oooooooh....that hurt." Titus moaned.
	"Let me go." Ukyo charges, her spatula held above her head, ready to 
strike. Ako takes Ukyo's arm, and tosses her down the hall.
	"Amateurs." said Ako.
	"O.K. right chick, I don't normally do this." Ranma charged forth. He leapt
into the air, ready to plant his foot in Ako's face. Ako merely side stepped
the attack, and took Ranma by the collar, and flung him do to where Ukyo was 
lying.
	"Looks like it's up to me." Said Ryoga.
	"It just you and me now, Mutant." said Ako
	"MUTANT?" 
	"You freak!" Ako charged at Ryoga, pinning his arms to his sides.
	"Arrrrgh!" Ryoga could feel his bones creaking under the pressure Ako was
putting on them. 
	"Shine!" Ako yelled in Ryoga's face.
	"Arrrgh!" With a massive surge of strength and blue aura, Ryoga broke
free and took hold of Ako's hands. The pair locked them selves in a battle
of strengths. Muscles and bone strained at the immense pressure on them. 
	Finally. Ako's gave way.
	"Yeeeeerrrrrargh!" Ako gave out and anguished scream as Ryoga tore her arms 
out of their sockets.
	"Oh....my....what have a done...." Ryoga looked at the limbs in his hands
and the dying figure covered in bloody at his feet.
	Ranma comes to Ryoga side. "Ryoga, you....had no other choice." Ranma
puts his hand on Ryoga's shoulder.
	"I know. But that doesn't make it any easier. I did it with my bare hands.
It's different that shooting someone." tears began to well up in Ryoga's eyes,
and Ukyo came over, and held Ryoga, as Ryoga broke into sobs.

	Kuno sat in his chair abroad his flagship. 
	"Arrrgh! How dare they foil my unfoilable plan." he stormed.
	"Kuno..." Nabiki started to say.
	"Silence woman!" Kuno snapped. "Well, it is only the Shogun's loss, he's
the one who wanted Hibiki, not I.....for I now the location of the Rebel
fleet. And within an hour I shall have the Imperial Navy assembled, and
we shall attack! Bwhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha!"
	Nabiki looked at Kuno. She knew that the Small rebel fleet could not
repel the full might of the Imperial Navy. She knew that the time had come.
She looked at Kuno, and said to herself "It is time for me to kill you."

	Titus's ship came out of Hyperspace in the middle of the small rebel 
fleet.
	"We have you on our scanners, please identify your selves." said a 
operator aboard the Rebel flagship, the Peacemaker.
	"This is Titus Zeder, and I have Miss Tendo, and the rest with me, so, 
please give me clearance." said Titus.
	"I'm sorry, but....aaaaaah! AKANE! ARE YOU THERE!" the Operator is 
interrupted, violently, by Soun.
	"Yes, Dad, I'm here. Don't worry." said Akane.
	
	No sooner had Titus landed, but Soun embraced his daughter, nearly 
suffocating Akane. His once long black hair was now more gray than black, but
his was still in prime shape in  his early 50's.
	Akari came to Ryoga and looked at his sad face. "What's wrong?" she asked
and gave Ryoga a kiss, and led him away.
	"Well, it looks like it's over." said Titus. "I want my money." he said.
	And the Alarms went off.
	
	"My God!" Exclaimed the captain of the Ship, Herb, as he saw the mile long
goosenecked craft of the Imperial fleet come into normal space.
	
	"Bwhahahah! They're sitting ducks!" said Kuno looking at the hundred or
so Rebel ships.	" Launch Fighters! Fire at will! Bwhahahaha! Leave not ship
undamaged! Kill! Kill! KILLLLLLLLL!" Kuno shouted out at the fleet.

	"Arrgh! Their coming in too fast!" said the Captain of the Macross before
it exploded in a silent fiery ball.
	"Sir! We can't take much more of this! We have to retreat!" said an 
officer to the leader of the Rebels, Nadoka.
	"I agree." said Herb.
	"We can't....if the Tyrant's Cluster isn't safe, then nowhere is." said
Nadoka.
	"What can we do?" said Herb.
	"We fight...we fight as best we can." said Nadoka.
	
	Nabiki looked out a window as the spherical explosions of the Rebel 
ships lit up the darkness of Space.
	"I must....he must die..." she said to herself.
	"Ah, Col. Nabiki, may I have a word with you." Kuno came up behind her.
	"Sure."
	"It comes to my attention that there may be a Rebel spy within the high
command, I wonder if you could investigate." 
	"Oh sure I can. Ah, Milord?"
	"Yes?"
	"Did you ever get that weak spot in your armor fixed."
	"What weak spot?"
	"This one." From out of nowhere, Nabiki thrusts a Long bladed knife up
beneath Kuno's breastplate, and under his Rib cage. She stops it before
she it reaches his heart. "Who is the Shogun?" she asks.
	"I...d......kn..." Kuno manages to get out.
	"Where is he located?"
	"Gei....Pr...." 
	"Thank you Kuno-chan." 
	"Ten....Nab...I...." Kuno's mouth began to fill with lung froth and blood.
	"What?"
	"Love..." and Kuno Died.
	"I know Kuno-chan...I know." she said. She pulled the Knife from Kuno's
body, and shoved it into a nearby waste collector. "The Kuno I loved died 8 
years ago, and he was reborn in the last moments of life. Hmm...that's not
to bad." she said, as she jettisoned the body, along with the rest of the 
trash. 

	Nabiki made her way to the engine room, and snuck behind on of the 
cooling systems. The massive plasma pile reactors would over heat and explode
if the cooling system was at all interrupted. And that's exactly what Nabiki
intended to do.
	She took out a small shaped charge, just big enough to destroy a small
part of the cooling system, but enough that they wouldn't be able to fix it
before the reactors over heated. She placed it on the cooling system, and set
the timer for five minutes, and then ran as fast as she could to the hanger.
She hopped into her shuttle and launched.

	"Captain, I'm reading massive internal explosions coming from the 
command	ship." said an operator.
	Herb came over. "What?" Herb looked at the Kuno's Triumph as it began
to swell and explode. "Oh my!" 

	"What happened!" Yelled Captain Kobayakawa, as he watched the command
ship explode. "Retreat! Retreat!" he began to command.

	"They're breaking off! They're breaking off!" said an Operator, and the
whole fleet began to cheer.
	"What the situation." Herb asked.
	"Hmmm...we lost 34 ships sir, and most of our fighters are destroyed or
disabled, all our ships have sustained at least minor damage. Oh yes, and we
have a prisoner, on Col. Tendo Nabiki."

	"Nabiki! How dare you come back!" Ranma had grabbed Nabiki by her uniform
lapels, and was shaking her.
	"Ranma...put me down....I'm.." she tried to say.
	"I don't want to hear it!" 
	"Ranma, put her down ." said Akane. She came over to Nabiki and hugged 
her. "I missed you Onnesama."
	"Nabiki!" Soun came charging into the room and gave Nabiki a Big surly
hug.
	"This is all great, but it's not over yet." said Nabiki.
	"I knew it." said Titus.
	"What do you mean?" said Ryoga.
	"There's one last thing. We have to go to Geidi Prime." said Nabiki.
	"What's on that hell hole?" asked Ranma.
	"The Shogun, the real power behind the Empire." said Nabiki.
