Hmmm...I like the argument people are agreeing on. However, IMHO, CD's
Ranma seems unduly attracted to his sister. This is especially true
if you think of Ranma as a serious Martial Artist, bound to honor custom
and tradition of a masculine warrior ideal...which doesn't include incest.
Of course, he mainly whines and argues, so maybe not ^_^.

I have a bigger problem with Ranko. I don't think she would consider
Ranma a new person. Even if she was 100% sure he wasn't crazy or lying,
she would consider him her brother. People don't think of others in terms
of abstract concepts, such as containing a specific set of experiences and
memories; they think of other people in everyday terms, such as what they
look like. In addition, the whole idea of a brother from an alternate
reality is too absurd for a person to grasp and deal with rationally.

And every argument about Ranma not recognizing the incest taboo works as
an argument that Ranko would. She has had a brother for way way long
time, after all, and knows that you shouldn't. To me, the pairing makes
about as much sense as Nabiki-Kasumi or something.

IMHO,

Jeff the Slacker ^_^
