Well, I seem to be losing my audience. S'okay; this 'fic has me
enraptured so that it doesn't matter if anyone but me reads it. :)
I do have a few followers, and I deeply appreciate your comments.
Heck no, we're still tuning in. :)
We move on to Shampoo in this one. This is a vicious story; tell me if
you think it's terribly out of character (I've already received some
feedback on Kuno and Nabiki in my previous chapter). Personally, I
don't think so (which is why I'm writing it this way :). However, your
thoughts are welcome as always.
And now for my 3 pfennigs worth.
I can easily see Shampoo getting up the nerve to kill Akane. But I just
can't see Cologne honestly believing that Shampoo would stand a snowball's
chance in hell of marrying Ranma (or even living through a meeting with
him) after killing Akane. The old ghoul is a shrewd judge of human nature;
while Shampoo is blind to the fact that Ranma loves Akane, she is not.
I noticed that you never actually said that the deathstroke hit Akane.
(yes, flesh noise, but...) I'm hoping that this is a cliffhanger type plot
device, and that (A) the cavalry come a-chargin' over the hill in time to
save her, or (B) Shampoo decides that murder is going a bit too far.
As to option 3, Shampoo pulling a Highlander? Well.....I like this
series. I like it enough so that I care what happens to the people in it.
Let me just say that, IMHO, killing Akane would be a bad move. I'm hoping
for a resolution to the series, not a sadfic, and killing Akane just halts
a LOT of character development.
And there are too damn many sadfics out there already.
And I happen to like happy endings.
