4. The Bay Area has several Anime Clubs, among these are:

Foothill Anime, who meets every 1st Sunday of every month at Foothill
College, Los Altos Hills near San Jose. Fan-subs and first-run anime
features are shown.

No-Name Anime, meets every 2nd Saturday of the month in San Jose. If You
want further info about them, contact Michael Wright at ameratsu@aol.com

CA-West meets also on the 2nd Saturday of each month at the Empire St. Library
near Nikaku Animart in San Jose. Mostly a mass crosstaping fest, showing
mostly new anime from Laserdisks someone else just bought...^ ^;

Bay Area Animation Society, who meets on the 4th Saturday of each month at the
Empire St. Library, near Nikaku Animart, in S.J. We show fan-subbed, new
anime from Japanese broadcasts, and full-length screeners from the major
Anime companies from Japan and here in the U.S. . We also head anime shows
across the nation, in fact we were at Project A-Kon this year, and in
Missouri, and in Wisconsin, We also do gaming conventions like DungraCon,
GamesCaucus, etc..etc.. est.1993.

Beefbowl Anime(formerly Laney Anime), who meets every 2nd Saturday at the
Albany Library in Albany shows mostly commercial releases, as well as some
fan-subbed material....

And that's just a smattering of the clubs in the area, Misa. Hope to see
you soon in the Bay Area!!!

A Lum-fan for life,
