I see you changed the "Kasumi"s to "Kasumi-chan"s.
At the time I commented on this, you mentioned that
the scene was right out of the video, and that
it was "Kasumi" in the video. I'm wondering....
were you watching the dub version? I'd almost
bet money that in the Japanese version she
actually said "Kasumi-chan" <G>
How much money? <G>
A story: I had the english dubbed version of "The One to Carry On", and
it was to this I referred to when writing the scene. Then, to my
excitement, I saw in Suncoast a subbed version of the OAVs. I bought
it, rushed it home, and watched it. It was from the subbed version that
I got the idea to use "Okaasan".
Alas, when I did replay this scene, she only said "Kasumi". I was a bit
disappointed; it sure didn't seem right.
Well, as an author I think I'm allowed a little leeway. I wanted
"Kasumi-chan", and your comment that this seemed better was all the
justification I needed to deviate from the OAV.
Thanks for the info on the posting places!

Does that fact that I buy both subs and dubs of the same anime make me
an otaku?
